Sedona Launches Heat Pump Group Buying Scheme for Homeowners
USA: The City of Sedona, Arizona, has launched the Northern Arizona Switch Together Heat Pump Co Op to encourage homeowners to replace traditional heating and cooling systems with heat pumps. The group buying programme offers participating homeowners a 17% discount based on the national average installation cost. Eligible households may also access additional savings through Sedona’s Home Energy Retrofit Program and Arizona’s Efficiency Arizona Program. The initiative is being delivered in partnership with Solar United Neighbours, iChoosr, Coconino County and the City of Flagstaff. Heat pumps are promoted as an energy efficient option that combines heating and cooling in a single electrical system and can reduce operating costs. Homeowners can register and receive a personalised offer, with registration and offer acceptance open until 18 November 2026.
