Samsung Wind-Free Air Conditioner Surpasses 20 Million Units in Sales

South Korea/Global: Samsung Electronics has announced that cumulative global sales of its Wind-Free Air Conditioner have exceeded 20 million units as of June 2026, marking the product's tenth anniversary since its launch in 2016. The company said it will continue expanding its presence in the business-to-business (B2B) HVAC market across Europe, Asia, and Central and South America. In Europe, Samsung has supplied commercial Wind-Free HVAC systems to the Hotel Marriott Trieste in Italy and Hotel Esmeralda in Calpe, Spain, where demand for air conditioning has increased during recent heatwaves.
In Asia and Central and South America, Samsung has secured additional projects, including the supply of Wind-Free Air Conditioners to approximately 3,000 residential units as part of CapitaLand's Cicamore redevelopment project in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The company is also supplying more than 1,000 air conditioning units, including Wind-Free models, to the Paseo 55 mixed-use development in Paraguay. Samsung stated that it plans to support further growth in the global HVAC market through its Wind-Free technology and business solutions incorporating artificial intelligence and SmartThings Pro.
