South Korea/US: Samsung Electronics has announced the launch of its Eco Heating System (EHS) at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, marking its entry into the U.S. HVAC market. The product is already available in over 40 European countries. The EHS is designed to deliver energy-efficient heating solutions for residential and commercial spaces. The system operates using air heat and electricity, providing underfloor heating and hot water while reducing carbon emissions compared to traditional fossil-fuel boilers. Key features include AI-based indoor temperature controls, compatibility with the SmartThings app for energy management, and the use of R32 refrigerant with a lower global warming potential.
