United Kingdom: Mitsubishi Electric has entered the UK refrigeration market with its ECOV R744 Series of condensing units, designed for smaller shops, convenience stores, and cold storage rooms in pubs and cafes. These units offer low noise levels, a compact footprint, long pipe runs, and a wide evaporating temperature range from -45ºC to -5ºC, making them suitable for both chilling and freezing applications. Using non-flammable CO₂ refrigerant (R744), the units have a low global warming potential, reducing carbon emissions compared to systems using HFC refrigerants. The ECOV units, designed for energy efficiency, ease of installation, and reliability, are available in multiple models with varying capacities, assisting businesses in meeting CSR and net zero targets.
