Blue Star Reports Rise in Quarterly and Annual Profit

India: Blue Star Ltd reported a 21.47% increase in consolidated net profit for the quarter ending March 2025, reaching INR 194 crore (USD 23.3 million), compared to INR 159.71 crore (USD 19.2 million) in the same period the previous year. The rise was attributed mainly to performance in its air-conditioner room and project businesses. Revenue from operations grew by 20.77% to INR 4,018.96 crore (USD 483 million), while total expenses increased by 21.34% to INR 3,793.73 crore (USD 456 million). Revenue from the electro-mechanical projects and commercial air conditioning segment rose 30.6% to INR 1,968.17 crore (USD 237 million), and revenue from unitary products, including room ACs, stood at INR 1,960.23 crore (USD 236 million). The professional electronics and industrial systems segment, however, recorded a 19.18% decline in revenue to INR 90.56 crore (USD 10.9 million).

For the full financial year ending 31 March 2025, Blue Star’s consolidated net profit rose to INR 591.28 crore (USD 71 million), up from INR 414.31 crore (USD 49.9 million) in FY24. Total consolidated income for the year increased by 23.73% to INR 12,042.65 crore (USD 1.45 billion), compared to INR 9,731.86 crore (USD 1.17 billion) in the previous year. The company attributed its annual performance to sustained demand across its core business segments, with growth in the Room AC division supported by seasonal demand and inventory planning by channel partners.
