Mereway Bathrooms in UK Enters Liquidation Following Financial Struggles
UK: Mereway Bathrooms, based in Birmingham, has officially entered into liquidation, appointing FRP Advisory as liquidators on November 5. This decision, known as a Creditors Voluntary Liquidation (CVL), was made after the company’s financial difficulties were deemed beyond recovery. FRP Advisory, the firm managing this process, recently handled similar cases for companies including International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) and Aqualux Products.
Retail partners of Mereway Bathrooms reportedly received notification on November 7 regarding the company's liquidation, advising them that no new orders would be accepted. The company has also failed to file an overdue annual confirmation statement with Companies House and attempts to contact their head office have gone unanswered. Mereway Kitchens, a separate entity despite sharing the Mereway brand, also ceased operations earlier in the year after efforts by the Sigma 3 Group to salvage the business proved unsuccessful.
