Daikin Opens New Egypt HQ, Expands Regional Presence
Egypt: Daikin has inaugurated its new headquarters in New Cairo City, Egypt, strategically located in Marakez District 5. The upgraded facility enhances customer convenience and business opportunities in the region. The grand opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Hasan Onder, President of Daikin Türkiye, Middle East, and Africa; Fumio Iwai, Japan’s Ambassador to Egypt; and Sherif Soliman, Managing Director of Daikin Egypt.
The headquarters includes a state-of-the-art showroom for product demonstrations and an advanced training center to equip professionals with industry skills. Positioned near major roads and business hubs, it offers easy accessibility, ample parking, and potential for future local manufacturing.
Hasan Onder emphasized that the facility strengthens Daikin’s ability to meet Egypt’s rising HVAC-R demand, while Sherif Soliman highlighted its role in advancing energy-efficient air conditioning solutions. This expansion aligns with Daikin’s 100th anniversary and its recognition as a Great Place to Work, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and industry leadership.
