WG&E Offers Heat Pump Rebates up to $6,000 for Conversion from Fossil Fuels

UK: Customers are eligible for a rebate of up to $6,000 from Westfield Gas & Electric for the installation of an air source heat pump in their residences. Manager of Key Accounts and Sales Andrew Short stated at a seminar on April 24 that reimbursement will be at a rate of $1,500 per tonne. The cost per unit of 2½ tonnes is $3,750. Short stated that a whole-house system would qualify for a $4,500 rebate on a three-ton unit.
