Voltas Reports Rise in Profit for March Quarter and FY25

India: Voltas reported a net profit of INR 236 crore (USD 28.3 million) for the March quarter of FY25, more than double the INR 111 crore (USD 13.3 million) recorded during the same period in FY24. The increase in profit was supported by higher total income, which rose to INR 4,847 crore (USD 582 million) from INR 4,257 crore (USD 511 million) in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. For the full financial year FY25, the company’s net profit increased to INR 834 crore (USD 100 million) from INR 248 crore (USD 29.8 million) in FY24. The board of directors has recommended a dividend of INR 7 per share for the financial year 2024–25.
The Unitary Cooling Products segment sustained its growth with an overall volume increase of 36 percent in FY25, and certain categories such as air coolers saw growth exceeding 70 percent. The electro-mechanical projects and services segment recorded a 13 percent rise in revenue to INR 4,157 crore (USD 499 million) from INR 3,683 crore (USD 442 million) in FY24. Segment losses declined from INR 108 crore (USD 12.9 million) to INR 2 crore (USD 240,000), attributed to improved order intake, execution, and working capital management. The engineering products and services segment reported revenue of INR 569 crore (USD 68.3 million), compared to INR 588 crore (USD 70.6 million) in the previous year, with performance affected by broader economic conditions.
