Tabreed and GIZ Partner to Accelerate Adoption of Energy-efficient District Cooling Solutions in India

Through the 'Energy Efficient Cooling' programme, Tabreed and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). GIZ and the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) are collaborating on this project in order to keep pushing the market for the adoption of thermal storage and energy-efficient district cooling systems in India. Thus, it is in line with the nation's Nationally Determined Contribution to the Paris Agreement, which calls for the adoption of a development strategy that is friendly to the climate.
