South Korea: LG Electronics has launched the LG HVAC Leaders’ Summit 2025, a four-day event held in Korea starting Monday, as part of its broader strategy to strengthen its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) business in the fast-growing Global South. The summit has brought together consultants from seven Asian countries, including India, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia, to explore the latest industry trends and showcase LG’s lineup of system air conditioners, chillers, and thermal management solutions tailored for data centers.

With increasing demand for HVAC systems driven by manufacturing and urban development in Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, LG is focusing on the Global South as a key growth market. The company aims to boost its presence by highlighting its customized design and operational strengths to secure future project bids. LG previously hosted a similar event for African consultants in Kenya on May 14 and plans to invite Middle Eastern consultants to Korea in June, followed by Latin American consultants in July. Lee Jae-sung, head of LG’s eco solutions division, emphasized the company's commitment to global B2B HVAC leadership through close communication with consultants and differentiated technologies.
