Systemair Acquires PHEM Engineering in Malaysia

MALAYSIA: The air handling unit manufacturer PHEM Engineering SDN. BHD. in Malaysia has been acquired by Systemair ABs. Apart from air handling units, PHEM Engineering SDN. BHD is a manufacturer of fans for commercial applications with sales in Southeast Asia and Australia with headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Systemair anticipates that this transaction will provide greater access to expertise and locally manufactured air handling units, benefiting the rapidly expanding markets in Southeast Asia and Australia. The company already operates in Malaysia, employing around 140 people and generating a turnover of nearly SEK 160 million (US$ 14.6 million).
