Sweden/India: Systemair AB has entered into an agreement to acquire NADI Airtechnics Ltd., an India-based manufacturer of engineered industrial fans. Headquartered in Chennai, NADI produces centrifugal blowers, axial fans, railway cooling fans, and systems for environmental applications such as carbon capture. The company employs over 220 staff and reported revenues of approximately EUR 13.5 million (USD 14.4 million/INR 1,350 million) for the financial year 2024–25, with an EBIT margin above Systemair’s target of 10 percent. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Systemair’s position in India’s industrial and railway fan market and provide product synergies in infrastructure segments.
The acquisition, signed with the Kamdar family, founders of NADI, is anticipated to close during Systemair’s second quarter. Systemair plans to integrate NADI’s axial fan range into its broader product offering and explore opportunities to expand NADI’s sales in Europe and the United States, particularly for railway and mass rapid transit applications. The acquisition supports Systemair’s growth strategy in India and its expansion in the global industrial fan sector.
