SPX Technologies Completes Acquisition of FIS Water for $410 Million

USA: SPX Technologies, Inc. has completed the acquisition of FIS Water, LLC, including certain tax attributes, for approximately $410 million in cash. Established in 2018, FIS Water offers a portfolio of established brands specialising in engineered water management and control solutions, primarily for commercial and industrial cooling applications. Its products remove solids, maintain water quality, and regulate water flow to protect and improve cooling system performance. The business operates through brands including LAKOS, Puroflux, Superior, VAF, and VSI, serving customers across data centres and other demanding commercial and industrial environments.
FIS Water will become part of SPX Technologies’ HVAC segment under its Cooling platform. Its water management solutions complement SPX’s existing cooling-tower portfolio, with synergies across customer relationships, engineering specifications, and sales channels. Additionally, FIS Water’s valves and actuators will complement SPX’s recently acquired Neptronic business, expanding its HVAC control capabilities. SPX plans to support the acquired business's growth through its global distribution channels, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships, specification-driven sales expertise, and operational resources.
