UK: Shaws, a historic manufacturer of fireclay sinks since 1897, will transfer its production from Darwen to a new state-of-the-art facility near Wolverhampton by late 2025. The site, owned by Fortune Brands Innovations, marks the first new ceramics factory in Britain in over 50 years. With a six-month transition period, the advanced facility at i54 Business Park will enhance production capacity to meet rising demand in the UK, United States, Australia, and other key markets. While the traditional handcrafted process will remain, the new location will feature a controlled atmosphere, high-capacity kilns, and robot-assisted production to improve quality and efficiency.
