ScottishPower and Panasonic Partner to Accelerate Heat Pump Adoption in UK

UNITED KINGDOM: ScottishPower and Panasonic have announced a new partnership aimed at making green home heating more accessible and affordable for UK households. Customers purchasing a Panasonic heat pump through ScottishPower will receive a £1,000 (~US$1312.4) discount, along with an additional £300 (~US$393.7) energy bill credit for those who also get their energy supply from ScottishPower. The promotion includes a heat pump optimizer and smart radiator thermostat from tado°, enabling homeowners to manage heating remotely and achieve energy savings of up to 22%. Panasonic will also offer a £100 (~US$131.2) voucher redeemable through its online store. 

The collaboration supports the UK’s transition to low carbon heating solutions, making it easier for homeowners to reduce emissions and energy costs. The initiative follows a surge in interest in heat pumps after the UK Government raised the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant to £7,500 (~US$9843.2). The partnership offer runs from 3rd November 2025 to 27th February 2026.
