AUSTRALIA: Rinnai Australia is boosting its local manufacturing and R&D capabilities to cater to growing demand for bespoke HVAC solutions, supported by its NATA-accredited Yukawa test laboratory in Victoria.

Dan Tosh, General Manager of Sales & Marketing at Rinnai Australia, said the company’s investments underscore its commitment to growth and innovation. He noted that the surge in demand is not limited to Australia’s commercial HVAC sector.

Globally, Rinnai operates over 40 manufacturing sites, including two world-class facilities in Victoria. In the commercial and industrial segment, the company is renowned for its APAC packaged units and ducted split systems, which offer low operating costs and are suitable for both new developments and replacement projects. With a long history of reliable performance, APAC systems also provide a wide array of factory-fitted options, making them versatile for various commercial applications.

Recently, Rinnai developed a custom APAC packaged system for mining giant Fortescue in the Australian outback, featuring a stainless-steel casing to ensure corrosion resistance and protection against harsh environmental conditions at Port Hedland’s iron ore operations.

In the residential market, Rinnai has attracted strong customer interest with its 7-year warranty, offering a notable advantage over the market standard of 5 years.
