Rheem Strengthens Air Business with Acquisition of Nortek Global HVAC

United States: Rheem has announced its intent to acquire Nortek Global HVAC (NGH), a leading air conditioning products manufacturer based in O'Fallon, Missouri, from Madison Industries. NGH, with manufacturing in Saltillo, Mexico, and a distribution center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, will join Rheem’s Global Air division upon completion of the acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approvals.
Rheem, founded in 1925 and acquired by Paloma Co., Ltd. in 1988, is a global leader in heating, cooling, water heating, and commercial refrigeration products.
