Purmo Group Acquires Unitherm Heating Systems to Strengthen Heat Pump Solutions

Ireland/UK: On 1 October 2024, Purmo Group acquired Unitherm Heating Systems Ltd, an Ireland-based provider of holistic climate solutions centered around heat pumps. Headquartered in Dublin, Unitherm designs, supplies, commissions, and supports heating systems for both residential and commercial applications. Its product range includes heat pumps from 4kW to 4MW, emitter systems, underfloor heating, and ventilation solutions. This acquisition is part of Purmo Group's solution selling strategy.
Unitherm, founded in 2004, operates from three locations in Ireland and expanded to the UK in 2020. In 2023, the company reported net sales of EUR 28.2 million and has 65 employees across Ireland and the UK.
