Premier Elechtrotech Opens New Air Conditioner Manufacturing Plant in Akhangaran

Uzbekistan: Premier Elechtrotech has launched a new air conditioner manufacturing facility at the Eltech Industrial Technopark in Akhangaran. The plant, which spans 10 hectares with over 40,000 square metres of production space, is set to manufacture up to 300,000 air conditioners annually under the Premier brand. The total investment in the project has reached USD 30 million (GBP 23 million). The plant aims to strengthen local production capabilities, with a current localisation rate of 40% and a target to increase this to 70% within the next three years.
Once fully operational, the facility is expected to generate approximately 500 jobs. The project incorporates international collaboration, with technical expertise drawn from specialists in Italy and China. Premier has partnered with global companies including TCL, Aux, and Changhong to support the development and production processes at the plant.
