Panasonic Establishes HVAC & Cold Chain Company Under New Group Structure

Japan: Panasonic has established Panasonic HVAC & CC Co., Ltd. as part of its transition to a revised group structure. The new entity has been formed through the consolidation of the Heating & Ventilation A/C Company and the Cold Chain Solutions Company within Panasonic Corporation. The company will operate alongside other related entities, including Panasonic HVAC & CC Systems Co., Ltd., Panasonic Environmental Systems & Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hussmann Corporation in the United States, with a combined workforce of approximately 30,000 employees globally.
The new company will oversee operations related to heating, ventilation and air conditioning products, including residential and commercial air conditioners, ventilation systems, air purifiers, heat pump water heaters and air-to-water heat pumps, as well as cold chain products such as display cases and commercial kitchen equipment.
