Panasonic Partners with Together Housing to Provide Sustainable Heating in Northern England
UK: Panasonic has collaborated with social housing provider Together Housing to provide sustainable heating solutions to over 1,200 homes in North England, primarily in Yorkshire and Lancashire.
Together Housing, which manages over 39,000 homes, has already transitioned hundreds of homes from gas boilers to Panasonic J Series Aquarea Monobloc air-to-water heat pumps and plans to retrofit an additional 750 homes this year. The initiative includes thorough home surveys to ensure optimal insulation and ventilation.
The project emphasizes ease of installation and use, with positive feedback from tenants on reduced energy bills and user-friendly controls. Panasonic and Together Housing also launched "Go Green Together," an educational portal to support residents during the transition. The collaboration aims to set a benchmark for energy-efficient buildings and foster greener communities.
