Over 500,000 Govee Electric Space Heaters Recalled Due to Fire and Burn Hazards in USA

USA: The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of approximately 512,500 GoveeLife and Govee Smart Electric Space Heaters due to overheating risks that could lead to burns or fires. This recall, issued on November 7, 2024, affects heater models H7130, H7131, H7132, H7133, H7134, and H7135, which were sold from September 2021 to September 2024 through Amazon, Govee’s website, the Govee Home App, and TikTok Shop. Consumers are advised to stop using the heaters, unplug them, cut the power cord, and contact Govee for a refund. This action follows 113 reported cases of overheating, including seven fires and one minor burn injury.
