Oli Reports Decline in 2025 Revenue Amid International Market Weakness

Portugal: Oli, a Portuguese manufacturer of concealed cisterns and flushing systems, reported turnover of EUR 69 million (approximately USD 75 million) in 2025, representing a decline of 8 percent compared with the previous year. The company had recorded growth of 3 percent in 2024 compared with 2023. Sales in the domestic Portuguese market increased by 5 percent during 2025. However, international markets, which account for around 70 percent of total sales, recorded declines during the year. The company cited inventory adjustments among strategic clients and reduced sales in conflict-affected regions as key factors affecting performance. The Middle East and Central Europe markets recorded declines of 47 percent and 14 percent respectively, reflecting " the significant political instability in these regions, the decline in public and private investment, and the economic slowdown. "

The French market also faced similar conditions, although the company’s subsidiary maintained alignment with the broader trend. In contrast, the German market recorded growth of 2 percent after a projected decline of 10 percent in 2024 compared with 2023. For 2026, the company expects a return to growth through international expansion, including " through mergers and acquisitions ," along with a focus on innovation and " operational efficiency through process automation and the digitalization of the organization. " António Ricardo Oliveira, director of Oli, stated that investments are considered essential to guarantee productivity gains in order to meet market demands.
