Nordic Climate Group Strengthens UK Presence with Acquisition of Technical Retail Services

UK: Nordic Climate Group has expanded its UK operations through the acquisition of Technical Retail Services Ltd (TRS), a Glasgow-based provider of refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical services with operations across Scotland and England. The acquisition enhances the Group’s UK footprint and adds a service-focused business with established partnerships with several of the country’s leading retailers.

Founded in 1998, TRS has earned a strong reputation in the retail sector through reliable delivery, technical expertise, and consistent service performance. The company serves blue-chip clients across the UK and has shown steady growth and stable profitability in recent years. With a workforce of 70, TRS brings additional scale and geographic coverage to Nordic Climate Group’s UK operations, while continuing to operate under its own name and from its existing locations.

TRS is owned and managed by Robert Yule and Stephen Lees, who will remain in their roles alongside the wider leadership team. Their combined expertise in service and project delivery has fostered a strong company culture and customer loyalty—continuity that will continue as TRS integrates into Nordic Climate Group.
