New Integrated Room AC, Compressor Manufacturing Factory by Daikin Opens in AP

INDIA: Daikin Air Conditioning India, a fully owned subsidiary of Japan's Daikin Industries, has formally opened its new greenfield facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The expansive 75.5-acre plant is devoted to creating climate-friendly air conditioning solutions for a range of countries, including Bangladesh, the Middle East, East Africa, West Africa, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, and Nepal. 3,000 jobs are anticipated to be created by the plant. An annual production capacity of 1.5 million room air conditioners and 3 million room air conditioner compressors will be possible at the new site.

The new facility satisfies Daikin's exacting standards for sustainability and quality while being furnished with the newest technologies. The plant is built to optimize production procedures, guaranteeing that consumers in India and abroad will receive Daikin's well-known products on schedule. The company started work on the project in April 2022 and finished the installations and construction quickly and on schedule.
