Trane Technologies to Expand Heat Transfer Capabilities with Acquisition of Cancoil
Canada: Trane Technologies has entered into an agreement to acquire Cancoil Thermal Corporation, an Ontario-based manufacturer of heat-transfer products. The deal covers Cancoil’s Canadian facilities, its growing manufacturing operations in Jacksonville, Texas, and a workforce of more than 450 employees. Cancoil produces fluid coolers, air-cooled condensers and customised finned-tube coils used in data centres, food-processing facilities, refrigerated warehouses, supermarkets, schools and hospitals. The company is an existing supplier to Trane Technologies’ chiller and airside operations and will continue supplying its current customers after the acquisition.
Trane Technologies expects the transaction to strengthen its heat-transfer expertise and supply chain while supporting Cancoil’s growth in Canada and the United States. The acquisition is expected to close before the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and standard closing conditions.
