LMD and Schneider Electric Partner on Smart City Projects in Egypt

Egypt: LMD has signed a memorandum of understanding with Schneider Electric to collaborate on the development of smart and energy-efficient projects across Egypt. The agreement focuses on integrating technologies related to sustainability, energy management, artificial intelligence and smart city infrastructure into current and future developments. The partnership will utilise Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure platform to support the design and operation of integrated urban systems.
The collaboration will cover infrastructure areas including electricity, HVAC, water, gas, data networks, data centres, traffic systems and security management. Both companies stated that the initiative aims to improve operational efficiency, resource management and infrastructure resilience across residential and commercial developments. The agreement also aligns with wider efforts to introduce technology-driven urban planning and sustainable building systems within Egypt’s real estate sector.
