Lixil Announces Price Hike for Residential Building Materials Amid Rising Costs

Japan: LIXIL announced on June 20 a revision to the manufacturer's suggested retail prices for some residential building materials and equipment in Japan. Due to ongoing increases in raw material and logistics costs, prices will rise by 10-50% for residential window parts and door assemblies ordered from September 2nd, and by 3-50% for plumbing fixtures and 5-20% for tiles ordered from October 1st.
Despite previous adjustments, LIXIL stated that the continued cost pressures make it difficult to address these challenges through corporate efforts alone, necessitating this price revision.
