LG Electronics Reports First Quarter 2026 Financial Results

South Korea: LG Electronics Inc. reported consolidated revenue of 23.73 trillion won (approximately US$16 billion) and operating profit of 1.67 trillion won (approximately US$1.12 billion) for the first quarter of 2026, marking a year-on-year increase of 4.3% in revenue and 32.9% in operating profit. The company recorded its highest-ever first-quarter revenue, supported by stable growth in core businesses and expansion in business-to-business segments, particularly vehicle solutions.
Performance across segments showed strong contributions from home appliances and vehicle solutions, with their combined revenue exceeding 10 trillion won (US$6.7 billion) for the first time. The vehicle solutions business achieved record quarterly revenue and operating profit, while the home appliance segment continued to provide steady earnings. Overall profitability improved due to business mix optimisation and growth in high-value segments, positioning the company for continued stability despite ongoing global economic and geopolitical uncertainties.
