Kristian Strand Appointed President of Danfoss Climate Solutions
Denmark: Danfoss has announced the appointment of Kristian Strand as the new President of Danfoss Climate Solutions, effective April 1, 2025. Strand, currently serving as Divisional President for Commercial Compressors in the Climate Solutions segment, will also join the Danfoss Group Executive Team. With a distinguished tenure at Danfoss, Strand has held pivotal roles, including Divisional President for Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Controls, where he played a key role in driving strategy and performance within the Climate Solutions Leadership Team.
Kristian Strand succeeds Jürgen Fischer, who is retiring after 16 years with Danfoss. Fischer joined in 2008 as Vice President for Industrial Automation and later assumed various executive leadership roles within the Cooling segment. He formed the Climate Solutions Segment in January 2020, transforming it into a leading global provider of energy-efficient cooling and heating solutions across industrial applications, buildings, infrastructure, and the food and cold chain sectors. Reflecting on his tenure, Fischer stated, “I’m proud to pass on a business that is performing stronger and positioned better than ever before and happy that Danfoss Climate Solutions will be in good and safe hands with Kristian.”
