Johnson Controls Arabia Secures USD 90 Million VRF Contract in Egypt

Egypt: Johnson Controls Arabia (JCA) has been awarded a USD 90 million contract for one of the world’s largest Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) projects in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital (NAC). The project involves supplying and installing over 11,000 YORK VRF units across 138 buildings, delivering a total cooling capacity of 140,000 tons.
JCA’s partnerships with Innovo, Medcom, and Marasem ensure the seamless integration of VRF technology into the development’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) frameworks. During a site visit to Zone R5, JCA CEO Dr. Mohanad AlShaikh stated, “This project is a testament to Johnson Controls Arabia’s leadership in advancing energy-efficient cooling technologies.” The company manufactures its VRF systems in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), Saudi Arabia, supplying high-performance HVAC solutions across the Middle East.
