Copeland opens controls R&D lab in Italy
Updated: Apr 4
ITALY: At its Copeland Controls srl location in Belluno, Italy, Copeland has created a new innovation lab. The 10,000 square foot (>929 square metre) laboratory is devoted to the study and creation of Copeland HVACR controls products. It has multiple cutting-edge research and development rooms, such as an innovation lab for testing new equipment, a market lab for testing real applications in supermarket and convenience store settings, a climatic chamber for testing equipment in a range of temperature conditions, an external machine area for housing the market lab's equipment and testing it in real-life scenarios, and a hospitality area for engaging and training customers.
The Belluno team will be able to create sustainable solutions that are forward-thinking and meet global market demands thanks to this facility. Because it runs entirely on photovoltaic power, the lab has no environmental effect. Its sophisticated algorithms and integrated electronic solutions guarantee significant energy savings. Founded in 1995, Copeland Controls srl now employs over 200 individuals.
