Blue Star aims at 15% market share in FY25 in RACs

INDIA: According to a senior official, air conditioning company Blue Star Ltd. wants to sell 13 lakh room air conditioners (RAC) in FY25 in order to gain a 15% market share in this segment. "Due to the hard summer, we hope to sell over 10 lakh RACs this year, up from 8 lakh last year." We intend to sell 13 lakh units next year," B. Thiagarajan, Managing Director, stated to the press.


Six lakh units are produced at the company's Himachal facility, three lakh in Sri City, and one lakh are outsourced. According to him, one lakh units will be outsourced and 12 lakh units will be accounted for by both HP and Sri City next year.
