Haier adds Finnish distributor Kataikko

FINLAND: Haier HVAC Europe has expanded its European partner network by adding Kataikko Oy, a well-known Finnish heat pump distributor.

Kataikko, founded in 1995, is stated to have established a strong market reputation and maintains many branches around the Nordic region. It holds a 7% share of the Finnish heat pump market, which is still mainly reliant on gas boilers.

Kataikko has welcomed the entry of Haier by hosting training courses on the Haier portfolio. The inaugural two-day training programme reportedly drew regional professionals, over 30 clients, and an additional 75 attendees via live broadcast.

Kataikko will offer a variety of Haier solutions, including air-to-air and air-to-water devices, with a focus on Haier's Expert range, which is specifically designed for the Nordic environment. The Expert Nordic series provides continuous heating even at -30ºC and comes in sizes ranging from 2.5kW to 3.5kW, with energy efficiency of A+++/A+++.
