Greece Launches Exoikonomo 2025 Program to Support Heat Pump Installations

Greece: Greece has announced the "Exoikonomo 2025" program to enhance energy efficiency in homes and businesses, offering grants for heat pumps starting in 2025. The program will cover up to 100% of heat pump installation costs, capped at approximately USD 36,500, and includes support for replacing old windows, doors, and insulation upgrades. Subsidy rates for heat pumps are expected to range from 50 to 60%, with interest-free loans available and no income criteria. The heat pump subsidy will be offered through a dedicated program from the Ministry of Environment, with announcements expected shortly.
