UK: GoodWe has signed a partnership agreement with Kraken to provide UK customers access to a range of smart tariffs as the company prepares to benefit from rising residential battery storage demand under the UK’s Warm Homes Plan. Announced during the launch of GoodWe’s Warm Home All-In-One Solution for the UK market, the offering includes PV building materials, EV chargers, heat pumps, smart energy management systems, and inverter-storage solutions such as the ESA All-In-One series. Through the partnership, GoodWe products will be marketed as “Octopus-ready” and compatible with Octopus Energy’s smart tariff platform, while the company stated its integrated solution can achieve up to a 70% self-consumption rate for UK consumers. The UK government’s Warm Homes Plan includes a budget of approximately USD 20 billion, with around USD 6.7 billion allocated for fully funded energy upgrade packages for low-income households, supporting technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, and heat pumps.
