German Group Expands Operations with New 1.2 Million Sq Ft Heat Exchanger Production Facility in Jafza, UAE
United Arab Emirates: Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) has announced an agreement with German technology group Allied Heat Exchange Technology AG (A-HEAT) to develop the largest heat exchanger production facility in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The 1.2 million square foot, built-to-suit facility will be located within DP World's flagship free zone, Jafza, and operated by Güntner, A-HEAT's flagship brand. Established in 1931 in Munich, Güntner is a global leader in heat transfer technology. The state-of-the-art facility aims to meet the rising demand for energy-efficient cooling solutions, particularly for data centers requiring advanced thermal management to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability. This development aligns with the UAE's industrial strategy, “Operation 300bn”, which seeks to expand the industrial sector's contribution to the national GDP. The facility is expected to create numerous job opportunities and strengthen the UAE's position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and technology in the region.
