Germany: Swegon Germany GmbH has returned the distribution rights for Fujitsu-branded split, multisplit, and VRF air conditioning systems to Fujitsu General. Effective at the turn of the year 2025/2026, Fujitsu General will take over direct distribution of its air conditioning products in Germany, a role previously managed by Swegon Germany. This strategic move aligns with Fujitsu General’s broader European approach of strengthening direct sales to enhance proximity to customers and installation partners, following similar transitions in Italy, Great Britain, Norway, and Greece. The agreement for the operational transition was signed on October 28, 2025, ensuring business continuity and uninterrupted customer service during the changeover.
Following this transition, Swegon Germany GmbH will focus on its core business, emphasizing commercial and industrial HVAC solutions, particularly ventilation and integrated heating and cooling systems. As part of the restructuring, sales and key administrative staff will move to Fujitsu General’s new operating structure to maintain consistent customer support. The shift marks the end of a successful collaboration between the two companies, allowing both to strengthen their respective strategic focuses in the HVAC market.
