Finn Geotherm completes local heat pump hat-trick
Finn Geotherm, a Norfolk-based installer of renewable heating systems, has started three local projects to swap out gas boilers with heat pumps, which would result in a 66% reduction in carbon emissions.
Finn Geotherm is installing two Panasonic 210kW air-source heat pumps as part of the 5000m2 Horizon Centre shared offices project on the Broadland Business Park in Norwich. The project started in December and will provide all of the heating, hot water, and conditioning for the building.
Finn Geotherm is building two additional 16kW heat pumps for hot water at Diss Leisure Centre, in addition to replacing the facility's three gas boilers with three Panasonic 210kW ASHPs to handle all of the pool and space heating needs. This work is being done as part of the £4 million modernization and refurbishing project at the leisure center by South Norfolk Council.
Finn Geotherm is now working on its third installation, which involves installing two Stiebel Eltron ground-source heat pumps for a South Norfolk Council-managed HMO in Norwich.
