Finland's Meriaura Energy to Develop French Solar Thermal Plant
France: According to a statement released by the company on Monday, the Finnish clean energy solutions supplier Meriaura Energy Ltd. has signed a contract to construct a solar thermal plant in France with a value of around 1.7 million euros (1.8 million dollars).
The deal will involve the delivery of a solar thermal field that is 5,800 square meters (62,431 square feet) in size to Les Serres Vermeil SARL, which is an organic vegetable grower based in Palau-del-Vidre, which is located in the southern region of France. As stated by Meriaura Energy, the plant will be utilized by Serres Vermeil for the purpose of heating its greenhouse complex.
