Essex Residents Encouraged to Register for Second Switch Together Heat Pump Initiative

UK: Essex County Council has renewed its partnership with Switch Together, the group-buying scheme designed to make upgrading home heating systems easier, more affordable, and environmentally friendly. Building on the success of the first phase, the council is now inviting homeowners across Essex to register for the second round of heat pump installations. In the previous scheme, more than 2,200 residents signed up, leading to nearly 100 successful installations. Switch Together helps households transition from traditional boilers to modern, energy-efficient heat pumps by pooling demand, enabling residents to access competitive bids from installers, reduce costs, and secure high-quality installations.
