EDF has announced the debut of its new Heat Pump Tracker pricing, which could help consumers save significantly on energy expenses. Heat pump users who convert to their energy supplier's tariff will save at least £164 compared to the regular variable rate. EDF claims that users will be able to save money and reduce carbon emissions by taking advantage of daily off-peak reductions and no-peak prices. This new offer is open to both new and existing clients using any heat pump technology. As part of the tariff, which was developed in collaboration with CJ Heating, EDF provides six hours of discounted zero-carbon electricity per day.
