Danfoss Doubles Production Capacity at Monterrey Factory in Mexico

Mexcio: Danfoss inaugurated the expansion of its Monterrey factory in Mexico, doubling its production capacity to meet growing demand for energy-efficient HVAC equipment across North and Latin America. The investment, part of the company’s LEAP 2030 strategy to strengthen global supply chains and reduce delivery times, includes expanding the compressor laboratory from 500 m² to 1,000 m² and enhancing sustainability, safety, supplier diversity, and transparency. The LEED Silver-certified facility, marking the site’s fourth expansion, now employs over 1,400 people. Danfoss operates six factories in Mexico across Monterrey, Queretaro, and Reynosa, covering 170,000 m², with total investments of USD 100 million USD over the past four years and 3,000 employees nationwide.
