US: Daikin Comfort Technologies North America Inc. has been awarded a $39 million grant by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to advance the production of domestic inverter heat pumps. This funding will allow Daikin, a global leader in heat pump technology, to expand its product offerings to include air-to-water systems, setting the stage for the evolution of next-generation heat pump technology in the U.S. The funding will also create approximately 275 new jobs and enhance technical training opportunities at Daikin's Texas Technology Park, supporting the development of a skilled, clean-technology-focused American workforce.
