Daikin Industries Reports Strong FY2025 Growth Led by Environmental HVAC Solutions and Applied Business Expansion

Europe: Daikin Industries announced strong global group results for fiscal year 2025 ended March 31, 2026, with solid growth driven by its air conditioning and applied solutions businesses despite ongoing global economic challenges. Its subsidiary, Daikin Europe, which manages HVAC-R operations across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, achieved record annual turnover of EUR 5.25 billion (US$6.1 billion), surpassing the previous fiscal year’s performance. In Europe, the company focused on environmentally friendly solutions, including residential R-290 heat pumps, R-32 VRV systems, and refrigeration showcases using R-290 and CO₂ refrigerants. Strong residential air conditioning sales in Turkey and significant growth in applied solutions across Saudi Arabia and the UAE supported regional performance. Daikin also strengthened its position in commercial and industrial markets through energy-efficient and low-environmental-impact solutions, particularly products using R-32 refrigerant. The company expanded its proposal-based sales approach targeting commercial buildings and hotels with premium models, while also growing its service and energy management offerings. Increased focus on sectors such as data centres, warehousing, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals further contributed to growth. Although the cold chain business faced weaker retailer investment, Daikin continued promoting environmentally friendly refrigeration solutions to support long-term market development.
