Daikin India Opens New R&D Centre in Rajasthan

India: Daikin India has inaugurated its third research and development centre in the country, located in Neemrana, Rajasthan. The facility, established with an investment of INR 500 crore (approximately USD 60 million), spans six acres and is intended to serve both domestic and international markets, according to a company statement.
The centre will employ over 500 engineers and is equipped with 22 testing laboratories designed for the development of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) solutions. It is aimed at enhancing the company’s manufacturing capabilities to meet increasing export demand from overseas markets.
