Carrier Global Q4 Profit Surges on Strong HVAC Demand

US: Carrier Global posted a better-than-expected fourth-quarter profit, driven by strong demand for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products and aftermarket repair services. The company's HVAC segment recorded an 11% organic growth in the quarter, led by commercial and North American residential sectors. Rising temperatures and stricter energy regulations have fueled demand for air conditioners and energy-efficient heat pumps, respectively.
The company reported an adjusted profit of USD 54 cents per share in the fourth quarter, surpassing analyst expectations of 50 cents. Quarterly revenue increased by 19% to USD 5.15 billion, though it fell short of estimates of USD 5.28 billion. Carrier projects its 2025 adjusted profit to range between USD 2.95 and USD 3.05 per share, aligning with market expectations.
