British Columbians to Get up to $16,000 Rebate for Installing a Heat Pump

Canada: Ottawa has increased B.C.'s heat-pump rebate programme by more than $100 million, which federal and provincial energy ministers say will assist lower- and middle-income British Columbians in switching to low-emission heating and cooling systems. The financial support will boost the current rebate for heat pumps in the province, allowing homeowners to receive up to $16,000 towards the expense. This is an increase from the previous maximum of $9,500.
