Amber Subsidiaries Secure Approval Under Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme

India: Amber Enterprises India stated that its step-down subsidiaries, Ascent K Circuit and Shogini Technoarts, have received formal approval under the Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme. The approval, granted in early January 2026 by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, supports the localisation of electronic components and is intended to strengthen India’s electronics manufacturing services ecosystem. The company said the clearance supports its plans to expand domestic manufacturing capabilities and aligns with national efforts to increase self-reliance in electronics production.

Amber Enterprises India is engaged in the manufacture of room air conditioners, including window and split units, and produces a range of air conditioning systems and components for multiple applications. On a consolidated basis, the company reported a net loss of INR 328.6 million (USD 4.0 million/EUR 3.7 million) for the quarter ended September 2025, compared with a net profit of INR 192.0 million (USD 2.3 million/EUR 2.1 million) in the same period a year earlier.
